(Americus, GA, December 11, 2017) – TCI Powder Coatings announced today that Douglas T. Mueller has joined TCI as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer reporting to Doug Greene - President. In this newly created position, Mr. Mueller will lead all of TCI technology and innovation activities across all technical facilities.

“Doug is a results and process driven leader with extensive experience leading global R&D organizations. With a strong track record launching innovative products, he is a terrific addition to the TCI leadership team as we continue evolving into the premium coatings supplier in the specialty OEM space for the segments we serve” says TCI Powder Coatings President, Doug Greene.

Doug Mueller joins TCI Powder Coatings from Hempel where he served as the North American Technical Director. Prior to working at Hempel, he served as Technology Director for Valspar’s global industrial business including powder, liquid, and electrodeposition coating segments.

Doug is a graduate of St. Ambrose University with a BA in Chemistry. He earned his MS in Chemistry from the University of Iowa.
